Senior Debt Facilities

First-priority institutional senior debt from £50M+ for corporate, real estate and infrastructure transactions.

Overview

We introduce senior debt requirements to institutional lenders — private banks, debt funds and insurance company lenders — providing senior secured and senior unsecured debt for corporate, real estate and infrastructure transactions from £50M upwards.

Senior debt is the most senior layer in a capital stack and takes priority over all other creditors in the event of default. For institutional transactions — corporate acquisitions, large property portfolios, infrastructure projects and capital raises — the senior lender is typically a private bank or institutional debt fund operating outside the conventional bank market.

The institutional senior debt market operates with greater flexibility than the conventional bank market. Lenders can structure bespoke terms, do not operate the credit committee cycle timelines of conventional banks, and can execute at the scale and pace that complex transactions require. We work exclusively with institutional senior lenders capable of underwriting at £50M and above.
